Anne of Green Gables: A New Beginning, film en français - Anne, maintenant une femme d'âge moyen, est troublé par les récents événements dans sa vie. Son mari, Gilbert, a été tué à l'étranger comme un médecin pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Ses deux filles sont pré-occupées avec leurs propres jeunes familles et son fils adoptif Dominic a pas encore de retour de la guerre. Quand un secret longtemps caché est découvert sous le plancher à Green Gables, Anne se réfugie dans ses souvenirs pour revivre ses premières années en difficulté avant d'arriver comme un orphelin à Green Gables et d'être adopté par le Cuthberts.
