Breaking and Entering, film en français - A Londres, Will (Jude Law) et son ami Sandy (Martin Freeman) administrés une firme d'architecture de paysage florissant qui a récemment déménagé à S Cross King?, Le centre de la régénération urbaine les plus ambitieux en Europe. La société souffre répété le vol par un des voleurs de bande locaux. Will, marre de cette situation, pourchasse l'un d'eux à l'appartement qu'il partage avec sa mère Amira (Juliette Binoche), une réfugiée bosniaque. Par ailleurs, Will vit avec sa petite amie belle Liv (Robin Wright Penn), qui est constamment préoccupé Bea (Poppy Rogers), la fille troublée de 13 ans. De façon inattendue, Will est un ami de Amira, mais leur amitié prend une tournure inattendue ...
