Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, film en français - Un groupe de jeunes hommes armés volent des banques dédié à l'état du Wyoming et le train-mail de l'Union Pacific. Le chef de la bande est le charismatique Butch Cassidy (Newman) et Sundance Kid (Redford) est son compagnon constant. Un jour, après un vol, le groupe se dissout. Voilà où Butch, Sundance et un jeune enseignant à Denver (Ross) forment un trio de brigands romantiques, fuyant la loi, montent la Bolivie.
