Cool Runnings, film en français - Derice, Sanka, Juin Bevil et Yul est quatre athlètes jamaïcains, avec peu de ressources et sans connaissance ou l'adaptation à la neige, mais prêt à atteindre un objectif difficile: gagner la médaille d'or rien de moins que les Jeux olympiques d'hiver à Calgary , Canada. Pour ce coaching ils recrutent un ex-champion américain (John Candy), qui accepte la tâche impossible en raison de leur situation économique précaire.
