Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, film en français - Peter LaFleur (Vince Vaughn), est le propriétaire de la salle de sport de Average Joe, qui est de briser. La clientèle de la salle de gym est très petite, et est composé de Steve "Pirate", un homme qui est censé pirate; Justin Redman, un gamin maigrichon qui rêve d'impressionner une pom-pom girl est à des années lumière d'avance sur leurs possibilités; Gordon Pibb, un sport rare homme obèse amateur; Owen, un jeune homme sans beaucoup de lumières; et Dwight Baumgarten, le malin arrogant qu'ils ont vraiment aucune idée. Peter l'humble salle de gym, attire l'?il de White Goodman (Ben Stiller), la star dans le monde du sport et propriétaire égocentrique de Globo Gym, un monolithe brillant de fitness.
