Fat City, film en français - Dans Stockton, California City, un combattant en déclin vétéran (Stacy Keach), qui survit en travaillant comme ouvrier agricole, elle rencontre un garçon qui veut être un boxeur (Jeff Bridges) et il recommande à son ancien manager, un autre perdant. "Fat City" est une expression de l'argot de la boxe qui signifie "paradis sur terre".
