Life of the Party: The Pamela Harriman Story, film en français - Dit la plupart du temps dans des flashbacks, le film raconte l'histoire de Pamela Digby Churchill Hayward Harriman, un des plus grands et probablement courtisanes les plus célèbres du XXe siècle. Bien que ne présentant pas de son enfance, le premier mariage au fils de Winston Churchill, ou la plupart de ses affaires, nous ne la chance de voir son affaire et le mariage éventuel à Broadway producteur Leland Hayward, puis son mariage avec politicien Averell Harriman, avec qui elle a eu une liaison tandis que les deux étaient mariés à d'autres dans la Seconde Guerre mondiale. On la voit aussi comme ambassadeur en France au cours de ses dernières années, et sa mort en 1997. Alors que certains (surtout ses amants) l'adoraient, d'autres (la plupart du temps son fils et les enfants de ses maris) la détestaient.
