LE FILM - SYNOPSIS ET DÉTAILS DU FILM

Mistral's Daughter, film en français - Belle et naïf Maggy Lunel arrive à Paris complètement rompu. Elle devient le modèle d'un artiste et le toast de Paris, attirant l'attention du peintre Picasso comme Julien Mistral, un homme arrogant et égoïste qui place son travail par-dessus tout. Leurs chemins se séparent comme l'art de Mistral attire l'?il d'une femme riche américain qui devient sa protectrice et finalement sa femme. Pendant les années de guerre en France, Mistral collabore avec les nazis afin de poursuivre son travail, une décision qui reviendra le hanter des années plus tard. Dans l'intervalle, Maggy a une fille nommée Teddy qui grandit et tombe en amour avec Mistral avec qui elle a un enfant nommé Fauve. Comme âges Mistral, il pactise avec son passé égoïste et trahison en temps de guerre à travers son art, laissant un bel héritage à sa fille, Fauve.
