LE FILM - SYNOPSIS ET DÉTAILS DU FILM

Paths of Glory, film en français - Première Guerre mondiale (1914-1918). En 1916, en France, le général Boulard a ordonné la conquête d'une position inexpugnable allemand et veille à ce que la mission générale Mireau ambitieux. Chargé de diriger l'attaque sera le colonel Dax. La prise de la colline est un enfer, et le régiment engage la retraite dans les tranchées. Le haut commandement militaire, irrité par la défaite, décide d'imposer le régiment un terrible châtiment servir d'exemple à d'autres soldats.
