LE FILM - SYNOPSIS ET DÉTAILS DU FILM

Rebel, film en français - Ce drame est situé dans la Seconde Guerre mondiale en Australie, où un Marine américain, Rebel se remet de blessures subies au combat. Il est las de la guerre et a l'intention d'aller AWOL et échapper à l'Australie. Il devient entiché avec un chanteur local, Kathy et la poursuit. Kathy est marié et initialement est pas intéressé à lui, mais plus tard, commence à aimer Rebel. Kathy reçoit une lettre l'informant que son mari a été tué dans la bataille. La police locale et l'armée américaine sont à la recherche de Rebel comme un soldat déserteur. Rebel organise pour échapper Austalia par un cargo, mais finalement lui permet d'être arrêté afin de garder la police locale d'arrêter Kathy pour lui hébergement.
