Rising Sun, film en français - Une belle jeune modèle est assassiné au cours d'une réception organisée à Los Angeles par la société japonaise Nakamoto. Commandé cas lieutenant Smith, un service de police d'homicide difficile qui contribue à l'enquête capitaine John Connor, une retraite avec une profonde connaissance de l'agent de la culture japonaise. Adaptation de film d'un roman controversé de Michael Crichton, sous le couvert d'un thriller, se cache une critique de l'influence japonaise croissante dans l'économie américaine et les pratiques agressives et racistes de grandes entreprises japonaises.
