Shining Through, film en français - 1940, Linda Voss (Melanie Griffith) est un judéo-irlandaise maison de femme allemande qui aime les films, notamment les films sur la guerre et les espions. Elle obtient un emploi dans un cabinet d'avocats à New York, après qu'il fut révélé qu'elle peut parler allemand couramment. En tant que secrétaire et traducteur Ed Leland (Michael Douglas), elle commence à soupçonner que son patron est impliqué dans le travail d'espionnage.
