Cependant, il est non seulement une modernisation, mais a aussi une touche; le rôle de Bianca, la s?ur cadette, est maintenant un petit frère gay, Tristan (Ryan Kennedy). Tammy (Sarah-Jane Redmond), la "mégère" est un vendeur très féministe sex toys qui semble effrayer tout homme qui traverse son chemin.
