The Benny Goodman Story, film en français - The Benny Goodman Story est un film biographique mettant en vedette Steve Allen et Donna Reed, dirigé par Valentine Davies et publié par Universal Studios en 1956. Le film est basé sur la vie du célèbre clarinettiste Benny Goodman, qui a enregistré la plupart des solos de clarinette utilisé dans le film. Le film capte plusieurs moments majeurs dans la vie de Goodman mais il a été décrit comme moins précise dans les détails. Fond juif de Goodman est jamais mentionné explicitement, malgré qu'il joue un rôle dans ses activités artistiques et personnels depuis des décennies. Dans une scène, où sa mère tente de lui parler sur une romance avec Alice Hammond, joué par Donna Reed, dont Goodman finit par se marier, dit-elle, "Bagels et le caviar ne se mélangent pas.".
