The Day the Earth Stood Still, film en français - Un jour, le Dr Helen Benson (Jennifer Connelly) est soudainement enlevée à son domicile par la National Security Agency, et pris ensemble avec d'autres scientifiques pour tenter d'expliquer les causes d'un objet mystérieux de l'espace qui se heurter contre tant inmintente l'île de Manhattan. Mais la collision ne se produit pas parce que l'OVNI, qui se révèle être un vaisseau spatial d'origine inconnue a atterri au milieu de Central Park. Les circonstances extraordinaires qui suivent événement prodigieux, avec l'ensemble de la planète en état de choc, prennent Helen pour répondre Klaatu (Keanu Reeves), un alien humanoïde qui dit atteindre des fins pacifiques Terre apparemment pour avertir le population ... Remake du classique de 1951 de science-fiction.
