LE FILM - SYNOPSIS ET DÉTAILS DU FILM
The Happy Years, film en français - Basé sur une collection d'histoires mettant l'accent sur le jeune John Humperkink "Dink" Stover, un étudiant à l'Ecole Préparatoire Lawrenceville, en 1896, dont la famille, dans Eastcester, New York, ont à peu près renoncé à ses études parce qu'il est un étudiant incorrigible. Il monte dans un cas après l'autre et encourt la haine de ses camarades de classe, qui pensent qu'il est lâche, mais il change leur avis quand il défie plusieurs d'entre eux à un combat. Quand il rentre à la maison pour l'été, il rencontre Mlle Dolly Travers et augmente sa «haine des femmes» parce qu'elle n'a pas accepté ses farces d'écolier. Retour à l'école, à l'automne, il est plus difficile que jamais jusqu'à ce que sa philosophie est modifiée par un enseignant.

Critique de "Mr. Cinesco": Très bon, a réussi à raconter une bonne histoire et garder le public dans son fauteuil.
