The Mean Season, film en français - Malcolm Anderson est un journaliste pour un journal de Miami. Il en a assez des rapports les meurtres locales et ainsi promet son professeur de l'école amie (Christine), ils vont passer bientôt disparaître. Avant Malcolm peut remettre dans son avis, le meurtrier de son dernier article lui téléphone. Le meurtrier dit Malcolm qu'il va tuer à nouveau. Les appels téléphoniques et les meurtres continuent, dès Malcolm trouve qu'il est non seulement l'histoire des rapports, il est l'histoire.
