The Story of Esther Costello, film en français - Dix-huit ans Esther a été sourd et aveugle depuis l'accident qui a tué sa mère. Wealthy Margaret Landi, originaire du village de Esther en Irlande, est parlé en aidant à éduquer et éventuellement guérir Esther. Margaret pousse à aimer Esther comme une fille, mais trouve l'innocence de Esther menacé par des promoteurs louches et son ex-mari louche. Radiant performances par Heather Sears. Basé sur un livre qui avaient presque collègues de Helen Keller poursuit pour diffamation en raison de similitudes perçues entre Carlo Landi et le mari d'Annie Sullivan.
