Torch Song Trilogy, film en français - Montre la vie d'Arnold Beckhoff (Harvey Fierstein), une drag queen professionnelle, pendant la période 1971-1980: son obsession de trouver l'amour, les problèmes sociaux auxquels ils sont confrontés en raison de leur statut sexuel, l'acceptation d'elle-même, ses relations amoureuses avec des hommes et sa lutte personnelle pour sa mère (Anne Bancroft) accepter tel quel.
