Water for Elephants, film en français - À l'époque de la Grande Dépression, un jeune étudiant en médecine vétérinaire est contraint de quitter l'école après la mort de leurs parents. Puis commence à travailler pour le Cirque Benzini Brothers en tant que vétérinaire et garder les animaux. Le jeune homme tombe amoureux de Marlena, une cavalière qui est marié à Août, le propriétaire du cirque, un homme aussi charismatique que tordu ... l'adaptation célèbre best-seller éponyme de Sara Gruen.
