When the Wind Blows, film en français - Jim et Hilda Dupont sont un couple de retraités qui vivent dans une région rurale éloignée en Grande-Bretagne peu avant le début d'une guerre nucléaire. Profondément patriotes, ont une confiance absolue dans leur gouvernement et ont été rapportés en particulier ce qui est nécessaire dans le cas où l'ennemi attaque son pays. Jim lire les brochures officielles au sujet de la bombe atomique, et a commencé à construire un abri qui les protégera en cas d'une explosion nucléaire.
